What started as a notion, and became a dream, is now Cook’s Furniture & Bedding, Inc.

Cook's Furniture & Bedding, Inc., is owned and operated by Calvin and Gail Cook. The Cook's grew up in south western Pennsylvania, and continue to make their home in Somerset County with three adorable cats.

Calvin manages the day to day operations of the full service furniture and bedding store. He has made a commitment to continue to research the furniture industry for the newest and most popular designs of furniture, and offer them to the public at the lowest possible price. Calvin has been involved in the furniture business since 1998, when he started selling used furniture out of a storage building adjacent to the Cook's home. Cook's Furniture & Bedding has a competent staff to offer customer satisfaction with all purchases.

In March 2007 Cook’s Furniture & Bedding, Inc., moved to Georgian Place off of Center St., just minutes from Exit 110 of the Pennsylvania Turnpike and Route 219.

The Cook's claim Jesus Christ as their Savior, are members of a local United Methodist Church, and enjoy volunteering in their local Church.
